PMSis a customised solution for high net-worth individuals (HNIs), it offers greater flexibility with an investor's money and higher returns too.
The minimum amount for PMS in India is specified by the Indian Stock Market's regulatory body – SEBI. SEBI has notified the minimum amount to be ₹50 lakhs. This amount was recently increased from ₹25 lakhs to safeguard the small investors.
Given the flexibility that PMS mandates provide they have potential to do better than mutual funds but it needs more maturity and risk tolerance from investors.
